Refunds, Returns, and Warrenty Policy

30 Day Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your IceLock Pegs, you may return them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. Customers must email first to begin the process and receive return instructions. The customer is responsible for return shipping, and original shipping costs are non-refundable. Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the product is received.

Return requirements:

  • Both pegs and all included parts must be returned.

  • Returns are accepted even if the product shows normal wear from use.

  • Returns will not be accepted if the product is incomplete, deliberately damaged, or clearly abused.

  • Exchanges are not offered directly—if you want a different version (guard vs. no-guard), you must return your order and place a new one. Exceptions may be granted if you contact us first.

 

1-Year Limited Warranty

IceLock Pegs are covered by a 1-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship that make the product unusable during normal use. Covered failures include:

  • Spikes snapping or breaking during practice

  • Peg separation or structural failure

  • Cracks that spread or compromise performance

To file a warranty claim, email with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. If the claim appears eligible, we will provide instructions to ship the product back for inspection. IceLock covers inbound shipping for warranty claims. If the product is confirmed defective, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.

Warranty claims require proof of purchase. The warranty applies to the product itself, not just the original buyer. However, damage resulting from use outside of the normal use cases defined in this policy will void coverage.

Use Cases

IceLock Pegs are designed as hockey net pegs for goalie training, practices, and scrimmages. They are not designed for official games. The following use cases define what is considered normal use (covered) and what is outside use (not covered if damage results).

Normal Use Cases (Covered)

These are considered intended, acceptable uses:

  • Installing by hand or with light body pressure

  • Rocking or twisting to seat or remove

  • Pouring warm water (not boiling) to help with removal

  • Skates, pucks, and goal posts making contact with the pegs during play

  • Spikes becoming slightly dulled from repeated installation and removal

  • Storage in a hockey bag, on the goal, or in wet/frozen environments

  • Rust transfer from net frames (cosmetic only)

  • Scuffs, scratches, or grooves on guards from skate or puck contact (cosmetic only)

Outside Use Cases (Not Covered if Damage Results)

If the product is used in these ways and damage occurs, it will not be covered under warranty or returns:

  • Use in official games

  • Use on non-ice surfaces (synthetic, concrete, asphalt, thin ice down to flooring)

  • Forcing installation/removal with hammers, sledges, crowbars, or prying tools

  • Pouring hot or boiling water for removal

  • Leaving pegs installed during resurfacing or running them over with machinery

  • Modifying or altering the product (cutting, drilling, gluing, painting, taping, or using non-OEM parts)

  • Attempted spike replacement by the user

  • Exposure to chemicals, solvents, prolonged soaking, or extreme heat

  • Returning incomplete products (missing spikes or one peg)

  • Deliberate damage or abuse outside of intended purpose

Starting a Return or Warranty Claim

To begin a return (within 30 days) or a warranty claim (within 1 year), please contact us by email with your order details.

For returns (30 days):

  • Email first with your order number to receive return instructions.

  • You are responsible for return shipping.

  • Refunds cover the product price only (original shipping is non-refundable).

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the product is received and inspected.

For warranty claims (1 year):

  • Email with your order number, photos of the issue, and a description of what happened.

  • If the claim is eligible, you will receive instructions to ship the product back.

  • IceLock covers inbound shipping for warranty claims.

  • After inspection, defective products will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
